wow. so i requested an omelette with cheese and tomato. it came with onion, which i am sensitive to, so they remade it after a small huff and puff. maybe nobody ever returned anything? when it came again, it just tasted horrible and i realized it was the cheese. really strong cheese that i imagine others like. i like a sharp chedder but this was french smelly cheese for sure. anyway, the french fries that came and left with the previously were still on dish when it came back, hence cold and soggy. i doused everything with tons of salt and ordered a beer to help with the taste - didn't help really. after i was done, the toast came with margarine on it even though on the menu it specifically said butter in the menu. i said i was done eating but after that huff and puff i just said leave it. so for sure the worst food establishment i have visited portugal. the reason we walked in here was the name outside said panoramico restaurant and we wanted to see the sunset. check out my photo of the window to the sunset (its dark now but you will LOL) my partner wanted fresh fish and when she ordered a fish dish - they said no fish today. so we asked if he knew of a fish restaurant since this area is famous for it, and then suddenly they had fresh fish. to the fish's credit - my partner said it was excellent. yikes.

Cuando llegué a Oporto, lo primero que quería hacer era comerme una francesinha. Un tragaldabas como yo no se puede resistir a esa especie de sandwich que parece salido del mismísimo averno, en función de las calorías que tiene. Y al preguntar a los expertos en Oporto, me recomendaron el Cufra. Pero al ir a ver dónde estaba pensé "oh, cielos, pero si está a tomar morcillas". No, no me había percatado que estaba en frente de la Fundación Serralves, y que podría perfectamente haber ido al día siguiente cuando la visité. Pero bueno... La cuestión es que las dádivas vinieron a verme, y mientras caminaba por la ciudad me encontré con el Festival de la Francesinha en un céntrico parque. Me di una vuelta y allí me encontré el food truck de Cufra Grill. ¡Qué bien! ¡Voy a poder probarlo sin necesidad de ir a tomar morcillas! Qué riquísima está esa francesinha, qué cantidad de carne lleva y qué buenísimo ese picante y esa salsa que lo recubre todo. Desde luego que qué buena suerte que encontré este lugar y que estaba situado en pleno centro, porque no me hubiera perdonado no probar esta delicia...
